unfortunately i'm not that talented so have to pay an artist I just write and sketch the storyboard and he draws it. the first issue was supposed to be finished for Halloween but it won't be the idea was developed from a short i did last Halloween.
bear in mind i learn on my own and did all the camera and editing myself, it's pretty not good but it sewed the seeds and the whole nightmare/elm st. angle was just a homage freddy the mask/ chase/girl are in the comic book though.

If they stay away from the CGI and keep it to the feel of the original this would be cool.

I would also want to see Phantasm 5 come out because Agnus (no offense) is getting really old! Who knows how much he has left in him. I don't even care if they leave another open ended finish. As long as we can get to see The Tall Man another time.

As far as remakes go, screw em' come up with something fresh. If you held an AK to my head I would probably say Children of the Corn.

The Children of the Corn remake was direct to video, I didn't know about it either until it showed up on netflix one day. I was like, "They remade this? In 2009? Where have I been?"

I agree with pretty much everything said in this thread.
    * I'd love to see a serious return to slashers that isn't banking off of the classics or following the "Scream" formula.
    * Little to no CGI (it is rarely, if ever, done right)
    * Old school special effects and creatures
    * Fun/Interesting stories, likable characters, decent writing
    * NO MORE REMAKES (unless of films that actually could be improved upon) and only worthy sequels (not DTV crap / lazy, obvious cash-ins)
    * Less well-known actors (unless they truly fit the role and can pull it off, i.e. Anthony Hopkins)

That's all I have for now. Probably asking too much.

Not specific on a plotline or subgenre but I'd love it if horror cinema received a much needed kick up its arse from a visionary film maker. There's been soooo many horror maestro's over the years from Hitchcock to Argento to Carpenter via Dante and Fulci and Romero.
Horror has missed an auteur, someone to resurrect it and kick some arse. There's been many pretenders to the throne, Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson soon sold their souls to the corporate buck, Clive Barker was too fucking savvy for the film business and where the FUCK is Jim Van Bebber these days? Only Ittenbach is truly representing horror presently and his films are hushed up before any mainstream audience gets so much as a whiff of them.
The BBFC in Britain and the MPAA in America stifled directors and forced the genre into anaemic waters.
We need another take no prisoners style director to come along, any takers?
