So, I'm a huge pawnshop and garage sale fan simply because nothing makes me happier than finding something that I want for a cheap price.

Just the other day I was at one of the bigger pawnshops in Vancouver and found out that they are closing down and that all dvds were 4-6 bucks apiece. I dropped about $70 bucks and picked up some real gems such as Just Before Dawn, Tourist Trap, Wilderness, Maniac Cop, Murder Party and a bunch more.

I was curious about other peoples treasure hunting experiences and some great deals that you've found on dvds, figures, books, anything horror related..

I got Cemetary Man, Anchor Bay edt with booklet, for $10.00...which is pretty decent for rip-off Australian prices. I wanted this title for sooo long, to find it at this price was so awesome for me

Yeah there's nothing like finding hard to find or OOP(Out of Print) stuff at either a pawn shop, yard sale, or a video store that's going out of business for a cheap price is always a good thing.

I find a lot of stuff. tons of VHS very cheap. I have an original copy of ACTS OF VENGEANCE still sealed never viewed. a dvd of Fright Night 2 very cheap. Tons of figures.

I cant remember the best deal ever...I did get this sweet crushed velvet painting of Hulk Hogan in a nice frame for $0.25
I also got a mint copy of The Incredible Melting Man on VHS for $0.12

DVD wise there have been so many trips to the walmart bin and b1G1's from deep discount back in the day (before they went to shit) that I cant remember exactly what I got for how much.

Oh I did get a copy of Drag me to Hell on dvd for $1 via a raffle at a horror convention

Found the movie Split Second (used ) on dvd for $7.50 at FYE no less. Can't touch that movie for under $50 even on the internet. I have also found some rare giallo for a reasonable price at FYE as well

It's a store that sells movies, and, music usually at inflated prices; I beieve it's abreviated for For Your Entertainment. I stop in occasionally to see what they have, and on very rare occasions I will find something rare, and oop that would normally sell for an outrageous price

Oh I just thought of another one I got the Subspecies Box set for $25 or $30 and Charles Band signed it and took a picture with me, not bad considering it sells for $60 off their site
