Blood Diner is not a sequel to Blood Feast... Jackie Kong said it is her tribute to HG Lewis and his "classic" Blood Feast... HG Lewis himself later made the sequel to Blood Feast: Blood Feast 2: All You Can Eat... (A Queso Grande Production)... On a side note, I dig the hell out of both movies...

Finally say Blood Feast 2 the other night. Not as good but still fun as hell.

How is it not a sequel? It takes place in the same universe, same time line, has the same character from the original Blood Feast (well some of him anyway) and continues the story. Pretty sure that definitely makes it a sequel. Was Blood Feast 2 also a sequel to the original? yes Blood Diner is just another film maker's take on where they thought the story should go.

Yes it was a sequel to the original. By the way just to add to your point the USA working title for Blood Diner was Blood Feast 2. Guess it had two sequels.

The killer in the original Blood Feast was Fuad Ramses.. In Blood Diner, the dude in the jar was Anwar Tutman (Namtut)... the Goddess that Fuad was trying to resurrect was Ishtar... The goddess the Tutman brothers were trying to resurrect was Shitar... As for the US working title, that means nothing other than some distributor thought it might get more money if titled as such.

I remember this one, I always thought it had the same feel as Motel Hell with them storing body parts in the kitchen freezer and planting people in their garden. I can't remember if they actually ate the people in Motel Hell, Haven't seen it for a long time. I also haven't seen Blood Diner in forever but I remember the brothers getting the women and eating them, It was pretty funny too.

I really enjoyed this. A great homage to Herschell Gordon Lewis' Blood Feast, and pretty damn funny in places, too.

FINALLY got around to seeing this one and I'm so glad I did. One of the funniest horror flix if not THE funniest of all time. The 2 brothers, their uncle, and all the virgins and diner customers deliver hysterical comedy, blood/guts and gore. 9/10 from me. I plan on watching at least 2 more times before this week is over. How it slipped beneath my radar is beyond me.
