Inspired by William Blake's poem, "The Tyger
When 20 year old Kelly is startled awake late at night during a violent hurricane, she discovers she's not alone; a ravenous tiger is stalking her through the halls of her home. Trapped inside with every door and window boarded up, her stepfather is nowhere to be found, Kelly fights frantically to save her life and her younger brother Tom from the killer beast.

I just watched this and you know what. It dont suck! It doesn't rely on gore or anything. This is a straight up suspense flick. It does suffer occasionally from being a low budget DTV flick cuz there are times the tiger is super imposed on the screen in front of the kids and you can tell it isn't really there. But still I'd take that over crappy syfy channel CGI anyday which thankfully it dont use. Now I don't know much about autistic kids, but the kid in this flick does a great job and not to mention the lead chick is HOT. They manage to make the tiger very creepy in a lot of scenes. Theres a scene where she trapped in a vent, the opening is below her and the tiger shows up and look ups at her and its real creepy. This movie is all about them being stalked by this thing and like I said its pretty suspensful. If your into those kinda flicks you should deffinatly check it out. And thanx to Destine for posting the poem cuz I had no freakin clue why this was called Burning Bright of all things.

Its is a slasher flick with a tiger as the killer.... but no body count... and minimal blood. And an annoying autistic kid who should have been killed off. It has suspensful moments, but nothing amazing.... 5/10
