Trailer looks good, but I don't feel the same hype as I did with The Dark Knight.

Let's face facts, part of the hype for Dark Knight was Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker which was only fueled heavily by his early death. Out of all the major batman villians, problebly no villian gets more love then the Joker and we wanted to see him in the Nolanized Batman universe. While Bane is beloved by the comic fans, his popularity is not on the level as say Penguin. It also didn't help when Batman and Robin beaten, raped and left all the characters involved in a ditch, Bane being one of them. Still, Tom Hardy could reverse the general opinion on the character. Also, while we usually would be excited about Catwoman, I think we were all a little turned off by how realistic she's been made, although I am nerding out that they turned her anti-hero and not villian and from this trailer, we can now confirm that we are getting a team up of the two.

NOT a fan of this catwoman. She doesn't look nor act like her. I'm sure the movie will be entertaining enough and yes I will see it. But like many have said I'm not dying to see this one like I was with the first 2. Especially the second. It would have been great to see The Joker come back for this one but no Heath Ledger had to go an O.D. Stupid drugs I hate you. And I'm really tired of Bales Batman. I saw someone call his voice a heavy metal cookie monster once. I think that fits.

1. She doesn't act or sound like her because all we have is a trailer and a few photos and a couple, few minute, trailers. You really don't know how she's going to act or truly look like in the movie because it's not fucking out yet..
2. Your statement about hating heath ledger (or was it hating the drugs?) was just stupid to say and childish. Shit happens to people and you could recognize the fact that the man had a problem and perished. Oh fucking well that he can't be in the third movie just for you.
3. It doesn't fit

This does look really good, cannot wait.
What happened to Heath Ledger was very sad and just shows that no matter who we are, famous or whatnot, we are all very human.
As for the Cat Woman thing, she seems fine but that is coming from somebody who doesn't follow the comics etc. To me as long as she fits into the movie all is good

To be honest, I'm glad this is the final Nolan-verse Batman flick.. I found the movies entertaining enough, but when people try to make unrealistic shit like Batman oh so realistic (Oh they can't use THAT villian! He's too unrealistic!!), it tends to annoy me.
And people bitching that this Catwoman isn't looking or acting like the comicbook Catwoman.. Pretty much NOBODY in the Nolanverse Batman series looks or acts like their comicbook archetypes.. Not Catwoman.. Not Batman... Not Scarecrow... Not Bane... AND Not Joker... Mofos should be used to it by now!
I don't know if I'll be going to see this at the theater or not... just depends on if I have the extra cash to blow on it at the time... Unlike, The Avengers... which I'm going to beg, borrow or steal to go see in the theater.. Unlike this Batman trilogy, the makers of The Avengers and all the movies that have lead up to it have remembered it's a comic book based movie and it's supposed to be fantastical and unbelievable and most of all... FUCKIN' FUN!!!

Not much of a comic book movie fan but this looks insanely good.

Dmhead and wooden are the two most adamant defenders of this... Perhaps because Gotham look more like Chicago then it does Gotham? :elstare: Bad jokes aside, I don't get the same vibe as I did for the first two. I love, love, love Tom Hardy but Bane cannot be shorter then batman. It is the farthest thing from his character. And I know Nolan tweaked all the characters to his liking, but they all possessed some resemblence to the original idea, Bane does not.

My the only one who still thinks this movie should've been called "BATMAN RISES"?

I'm looking forward to this. Although I don't think they'll do any justice to Bane's character, but I will say it's a VAST improvement over what they did to the character in the last movie
Like, so many people out there were trying to track this down. And it just...got delivered on a tweet. What the hell.
