If we are gonna talk TV shows 'Mork and Mindy'. Loved that show when I was young, on again on free for view and was fairly lame.

Oh man do I hate it when that happens. You have all those memories built up and remembered when watching those movies and now when you watch them it just doesnt feel the same. its kind of like that quote from the hurt locker as you get older things you use to like that ain't that likeable as much. I am horribly off on that quote, but anyway....ANOES did not hold up at all....caught it on Netflix and was so bored and unimpressed. For some reason Childs Play 1 and 2 held up I was actually surprized. Monster Squad was great when I was younger...when I watched it recently I could barely make it through. Same with Halloween just didnt have that umph anymore....it doesn't mean their bad movies....just dated.

100% agreed... I was a huge Freddy fan back in Junior high/high school.... Tried watching the original a couple of years ago and couldn't get through it... even worse with the second.. then I just gave up on the series all together.

I will admit, I did enjoy FvsJ... perhaps it was just for the joy of seeing Jason taking a chunk out of Freddy...

I am starting to allow my daughter to watch horror movies. Last week I watched The Lost Boys with her. It still holds up and remains one of the best vamp movies out there. The odd thing with this movie though is the rating. If it were released today there is no way it would be rated "R". Even for back then I don't understand the rating. There is hardly any cursing, practically no gore, no nudity.
