http://cybermonkeydeathsquad.com/new...antastic-fest/I thought I had seen it all. Having been to every Fantastic Fest except the first one, I have had the joy of discovering the films of Noboru Iguchi and Yoshihiro Nishimura, the madcap genius’ behind Machine Girl, RoboGeisha, Helldriver, Vampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl and Mutant Girl Squad, among others. Every year they’re in attendance and every year I witness something so truly bizarre and outrageous that I figure there’s no way they can top their previous efforts. Then those two show up the next year and I once again am struck dumb by the awesomeness they bring to the big screen. Of course, Fantastic Fest is only a few weeks out (Sept. 22-30) and the Third Wave of content was announced this afternoon. Once again, Noboru Iguchi and Yoshihiro Nishimura are bringing a film which looks to surpass all their previous efforts and deliver more over-the-top thrills than ever before… and all I’ve seen is the title!
Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead screams “view me!” more than any other film announced this year. The premise (paraphrased from the excellent Twitchfilms.net) centers around karate student Megumi, who accompanies four friends on a trip into the woods. While fishing, the group discovers a strange parasitic worm inside a fish they catch, which hot model Maki eats in hopes it will keep her skinny. Thin is he least of the kids’ problems as they are soon set upon by ravening hoards of the undead who crawl forth from an outhouse toilet. Our heroes flee and take refuge in the house of Dr. Tanaka, who (unbeknownst to our group) has been experimenting on both the parasitic worms and the zombies and has another fate in store for our heroes. What is the connection between the parasite and the zombies? Will Megumi’s karate be enough to save the day? What ass-power will she develop? How amazing does this film sound?
I don’t know about you but a movie about parasite ass zombies is pretty much right up my alley and Zombie Ass will be making it’s World Premier at Fantastic Fest this year with both Noboru Iguchi and Yoshihiro Nishimura in attendance. It’s not too late to get tickets and plenty of second half badges remain available at this writing. I know I’ll be there, eagerly anticipating Zombie Ass in all it’s glory. I imagine a glowing review will also be forthcoming so for those unable to attend, fear not – you’ll still get to hear all about it. Until then, I encourage you to check out the Fantastic Fest website and all the other great content set to arrive beginning September 22.

Well, we've finally gotten to that point, after using every possible means to make a Zombie, we finally had to resort to Shit.
