The great zombie rpg game is going to the big white screen.

Lionsgate bought the rights from Deep silver to make the movie, but is still in development.
This is the only information i can give, but i'm 100% sure it's going to be a horror movie.

please, a big budget video game movie? Call me when Halo, Gears of War, God of War, Call of Duty, Dead Space, Castlevania, Mortal Kombat, etc, etc, etc get finished.

Just because the rights have been bought doesnt mean it's going to get made. Until any shots from the set come out I keep all video game movie rumors as 100% pure speculation.

Also, though I love the game the story is pretty weak and sub standard even for zombie movies. What makes the game good is the gameplay and mechanics, not the story.

That one seemed to be moving alone just fine, until everyone started dropping out. Mortal Kombat is schedule to film as early as Next year (hopefully).....

Zombies have been popular for awhile so im not suprised by this. And you guys are right most of them don't get made. Hell Gears of War will never happen cuz it would have to be an R rated big budget movie. But I see this one getting made, cuz zombies do pretty decent at the box office.
