When will those crazy kids ever learn? The back roads of Texas are not safe. You should always be carrying a weapon of some kind. As a native of Texas, I generally carry a steel baseball bat in the trunk of my car. If only I can get my hands on a chainsaw-- not like I could fit that in my pocket or anything.

Anywho, a new poster for THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D has been sent our way. So this film is supposed to be a "re-conceiving" of some kind starring Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen, Tobe Hooper, Paul Rae, Keram Malicki-Sánchez and Ritchie Montgomery. Love me some Moseley and seeing Clint Eastwood's son do some horror acting should be fun. The film follows, "Heather, who along with her friends, travels to Texas in order to collect an inheritance. The spin? What would you do if you found out your cousin was Leatherface, and he was now yours?"

What would I do if Leatherface was my cousin? I'd stay the f*ck away from all that. The film is due to release October 5, 2012.

Honestly, I would rather see a follow up to the Platinum Dunes' version. Especially revolving around Leatherface only having one arm.

The gimmick of 3-D is really ruining the movie experience for me at least because I find it utterly pointless. TCM 3D sounds like its gonna be an absolute waste, definitely gonna skip it and mount the TCM Original Ultimate Edition to the top of my movie case.

I've always had a soft spot for the TCM movies. If they keep it cheesy and fun I am cool with it.

Only TCM I didn't like was New Generation..thought it was horse shit..but going to give this one a try since I'm a fan of the rest. I do expect some CGI blood though since it's 3D..and that's just nonsense.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's on the same level as My Bloody Valentine 3-D, remember that lionsgate is producing this, and they are the only company that I can say aren't really afraid of kicking the MPAA in the nuts, as they bring out some ballsy films (Rambo, The Expendables, and like the last 3 or 4 saw films), that is for them to be mainstream. You know it might have some cuts to it, but if it is on the same level, and has the same energy and campiness as MBV3D, then I'm all for it, otherwise it will be more of the same and nothing worth looking into, waiting for the trailer....

don't think many of us will be going into this on the edge of our seats hoping for a good story
