Me and my Dad saw this in the theatre and we loved it. Of course it wasen't going to be a ground-breaking theatrical masterpiece, and it probably shouldn't be, it's merely a love letter to 80s and 70s and even late 60's action and grindhouse movies, those were and are still great being ridiculous but satisfying as fuck.

Michael Bay needs to take lessons from these guys, at least these have character, no matter if it's too-little too-late, it was fan-fucking-tastic. I can't wait for me and my old man to have our balls blown off once again. It's got Norris, Arnuld, Willis, Van-Damme...it's an action movie, awesome dudes going in and blowing shit up.

Transformers was a bad example to do that kind of crap with, now if Transformers did a cross-over with the Expendables...I think that would be the greatest action movie that was ever created.

Hopefully, Sly will sort it out and get it changed back to an R rating just like he did with the first film before it was released.

Sly himself has confirmed this will be PG-13.

Sylvester Stallone has contacted Ain't It Cool News and has confirmed that the film will indeed be PG-13, but he's quick to try and quell anyone's fears saying:
