Hard choice. Both have good lists. Hommie's choice of Severan is probably the strongest one for me out of that list because I was actually thinking of picking him myself. Quint is definitely Darkgod's strong pick for that list because Quint was just a bad ass. In the end, I think I have to go with Darkgod. Both are great lists, though.

What an odd statement. If it's a character draft I'll vote for the characters and if it's a movie draft I'll vote for the movies. Underground films are typically where the sleazy characters come from.

While I think Ben and John Nada kick some serious ass, standing up and doing what needs to be done, I have to go with Quint, Ash, and Shaun. The speech Quint gives about his time on the U.S.S. Indianapolis is one of the creepiest things I've ever heard. Ash just won't quit, even when it seems hopeless. And Shaun, well, I just have this little voice in the back of my head that says "That would be me. I won't be the smoothest hero ever, but I'll live. And save the day."
So, good lists, both of you, but Darkgod gets my vote.
I also enjoyed Sam, way more than I thought I would. That whole movie surprised me.
