Yep it's true never seen any Jason movies. I am a child of the 80s so even I am not quite sure how it happened but I'll get the box set and get educated lol.

In regards the whole thing about being hung up on young chicks in movies, when I was a kid drew Barrymore in ET was older than me and I had major crush on her and oddly enough also a long forgotten singer called Sonya, any how I watched ET not so long back and it's creepy how I remember fancying her but now thinking its gross, your memories don't have ethics it just remembers it's just weird, it's like relationships where you don't see your ex for A long time you love them For who they were not who they are now WTF am I going on about I am sure it'll make sense to someone "shrugs"

Plus, while I'm goiing off on a rant-lite another fan boy obsession that perplexes me is the whole fucking Danielle Harris attraction. Yeah, she was cute as a button in Halloween 4 and I like her as a horror movie victim but WTF people? The whole Danielle Harris fixation definitely needs its own thread so I'll wrap my mini-diatribe up now.

Didn't realize the girl from Zombie's 2nd remake actually starred in one of the original movies. Little cutie? She's smoking!


And since I've never seen Halloween 4, I guess that blows your theory out of the water.

So this Kane Hodder only played Jason 4 times, starting with part 6? I figured he did most of them, due to the huge following he has. Only seen 2 of those, "Goes to hell" and "Jason X". Loved "X", hated "Hell".

Derek Mears was in F13 (09)
Ari Lehman was in the original (as young Jason)
Steve Dash was in part 2 but some other guy got credit

Everyone says part 6 is one of the best, but no one mentioned Graham as their favorite. Hmmmm......

I prefer 4 as my favorite film in the series. But I love the "zombie trilogy" of 6, 7, and 8 for their kills and classic 80's ness. 2 is also very badass and 1 is pure classic. I don't really have a lot of love for 5 as the kills are weak and the overall tone of the film seems different.

Though the best Jason portrayal is probably in 7, not only are the special effects awesome but Hodder is brutal.

No matter how you sugar coat it, Hodder is a stunt guy. Nothing more or less. The 'role' of Jason is that of an emotionless, hulking killing machine. I mean sure, I guess Hodder does a good job at it. But I imagine so would a thousand other guys in the industry. Walking fast and breathing heavy isn't exactly Shakespearean acting.

Part 6 is good.... But I like it cause of the kills. It's not my favorite.

Favorites probably... 3 then a tie between 2 and 4

Part 4 is easily the best simply because of Crispin Glover getting down with his bad self. "I think you should run that through your computer."

I personally don't get the love affair with 6. The slapstick comedy scene where Jason kills the paintball players is the definitive 'jump the shark' moment of the franchise. Just awful.

Not a single person has commented on Jason X. I thought the scene where Jason was beating a girl in sleeping bag, with another girl in a separate sleeping bag, was perfect.

The dried ice head bashing kill was cool too
The sleeping bag kill was an homage to part 7.
