So far what I see from the trailer, you've got a nice tie in to the beginning of Fellowship. At least their going down that route.

This is based on Bilbo's adventure , and how he came into possession of the Ring. If you really think 3 times was enough then I really sugguest you avoid this one. It's all pretty much the same dwarves, elves, gandolf, dragons, treeants, etc, etc

I'm curious to see how Jackson pulls off the scene where Bilbo comes across Gollum in the cave, or the groups encounter with the spiders. It's a couple of a few scenes in the book that would be a great way for Jackson to dip back into horror, and give this film the same atmosphere I feel Del Toro would've brought had he directed. It's funny Jackson is so established with this franchise, and I love the LOTR, so I know that I'm going to enjoy the movie and it's going to be good. But fucking A, I wish Del Toro was still making this!

I cannot wait. I haven't gone to theaters in a hell of a long time, but this one I want to see in theaters. I loved the trilogy and when I found out they were going to continue with more I got goosebumps.

My friends and I are going to see it on Saturday. I suggested that we dress up as wizards and roll up to the theater blasting "Straight Outta Mordor" by The Wizards. We'll see how that goes...
