Best and Worst of 2011

[Prince of Horror]

Well a New Year is coming in and another is passing, meaning that this is another year were horror seemed mediocre and the genre continues to lose it's freshness by not putting out anything original and kinda borrowing, and remaking, other films.

Though there were many films that came out this year that surprise (insidious) and some that just didn't do it for us. So what are you best and worst picks of this year?

The best for me were 'The Dead', 'The Orphan Killer' and 'Melancholia'. As for the worst 'Conan the Barbarian' and 'Cowboys Vs Aliens'.

I guess for best I would go with Troll Hunter, Attack The Block, Scream 4, and Fright Night. Prolly more just can't think. The I Spit On Your Grave Remake I would throw into the worst list.

To be honest all the ones I have actually watched apart from 'Sick Girl' were awesome. Mind you I haven't really watched any 2011 mainstream stuff so probably why my list so short, I my mind has been kind enough to scrub it from my memory

I wouldn't say it's a horror film, but considering the fact that I love it, I would go ahead and say yes, and put it at the top of my list.
