A sequel to Machete -- titled Machete Kills -- is aimed to begin production next month, with hopes to get Danny Trejo and much of the surviving cast from the first film back. This is the second installment in a planned trilogy. Director Robert Rodriguez was quoted saying: "Machete is truly a super hero and Machete Kills will be bigger and more ambitious than the first time." :borracho:
