Amityville Lost Tapes/Legacy 3D

I was looking at the 'Sequel' section on this page and i noticed two films in the amityville film series, named Amityville The Lost Tapes and Amityville Legacy 3D.

I did a quick search on the internet and couldn't find any information about either of these two movies, or if they're even still in plans or been scrapped. Does anyone had any information on the two?

The Amityville Haunting is on Netflix and I believe it may have been titled "The Lost Tapes" at one point. It is easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Are you sure The Amityville Haunting isn't "The Lost Tapes". Because I don't know (hope you haven't) seen that pile of shit, but that is exactly what the movie is. They find lost tapes and you watch what was recorded.

The best part of the movie was when the father started to go crazy at the end and dove to the floor. You can tell the actor accidentally hit his head on the table but they kept it in the movie!!

The actor who played him was some of the worst acting I have ever seen in all my years of watching movies.

Yeah, I agree. The original has to be a horror classic. It does get overhyped and overplayed, especially around Halloween, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a good movie.

I've never liked the franchise as a whole and see it overrated. But I'm not really a fan of the haunted house sub-genre anyway.
