Byzantium Trailer (Vampire flick)

I could have swore I seen a topic on this flick, but I may be wrong. This is the new trailer for the upcoming vamp flick Byzantium. It's being called "Twilight for smart people". The gore looks great and it's from the maker of Interview with a Vampire

I had read previously about this new proposal by filmmaker of Interview with a Vampire, but after reading this: "Twilight for smart people", my level of doubt is as large as the number of stars on a starry night.

That "twilight for smart people" statement was only from the source I got the trailer from. I should have specified.

Best vampire movie I have seen since Let the Right One In, excellent film

It's worth noting it is technically not a horror film but more of a fantasy / mystery / thriller. It's also a bit of a slow burn at a two hour run time so don't watch if you're in the mood for something action packed and bloody.

That said, I didn't find it at all boring and was enthralled by the story and characters from start to finish. Great cinematography and story-telling throughout. It may be a been there done that story to some, but something about the imagery and atmosphere I found really compelling and unique.

Finished this last night--good movie. Interesting story with some great character development and gore in the right places. Will have a more detailed review posted soon
