    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

    header.jpg

This game is fucking amazing! For those who have played the Dark Souls games and Bloodborne
you know what you are in for, but actually you don't! This is the tried and true formula redefined
    for samurai combat.

The Souls games along with Bloodborne are known for their punishing difficulty, great stories, beautiful graphics,
and some of the best combat systems ever. This is no different but yet much harder than those games.

To truly even scratch the surface of being good at this you have to unlearn the combat of those previous games
and learn Sekiro. This game is the hardest yet but it is not cheap. When you die it is your own fault. You need
to master and learn in order to succeed. You will die more here than in any other game but when you finally do
get past that one boss you spent countless hours on you feel amazing!

Anyone looking for a truly great game and doesn't mind it being extremely difficult and wanting to actually learn
the combat and all of its complex nuances this is a must buy.

I'm a couple hours in, beat the first boss (chained ogre) and dicked around with the surrounding areas and now I'm in the past. Everytime there's a new type of enemy you have to learn the correct way to best them. The timing is tough especially with different enemies having differing attacks with different speeds.
One thing I love compared to bloodborne is the different ways to traverse, running, jumping, sneaking, grapeling hooking, it all feels so fluid.

Unfortunately I never beat Bloodborne--it was too tough for me and I didn't have the time or patience to get better and complete it. I'm interested in this game, but knowing how difficult it can be kinda puts me off, especially since there are more games coming out soon that I want to play. I may scoop up the game when it's cheaper down the road though.

Friend of mine bought it, but never finished it. I definitely want to scoop it up though. From the few minutes I played it looked cool.

I guess depending where you go and when this may not be your first boss. For me he was my third.
Also all the "bosses" I have faced including this bastard are not even considered any of the games 13 bosses!

True Souls/Bloodborne fashion there are enemies that are hard as fuck bosses in any other game but here nope, they are
merely minor bumps in the road.

One of those minor bumps I faced so far was Jozou the Drunkard (Before the Chained Ogre). Holy fuck was he a bitch!

These games are nuts that you can face the ogre 3rd and I didnt see the other mini-bosses you faced yet. I'm going to try to play some this weekend if I get time.
