Conclusion, it will be a shit film that doesn't make much money (maybe its return budget and some lukewarm profit), and it will be forgotten.

Recent box office for big, expensive films would support this theory, no matter whether it's good or bad. But I'm more worried that it's going to do well, whether it's good or bad, meaning sequels are inevitable and reinforce studios culling through their catalogs to find properties to remake rather than new material to develop.

Perhaps I'm just being silly, but him having that one flesh arm/hand just kinda feels like a slap in the face to the original movie.. the whole "we managed to save the arm" .. "lose the arm!" scene was kind of a poignant moment showing how little they gave a shit about the human being Murphy was and how he was just meat to them... I dunno.. like I said, I'm probably just reading too much into that, but it's just another aspect of this flick that feels fucking WRONG to me..

According to IMDB this has a 100,000,000 budget. I don't see it making that domestically but worldwide it will probably make it back.

Im not going to watch this piece of shit. It is sad with the technology around today they should have been able to make this bad ass with an awesome story but it stinks of shit. I mean they are nowhere near making this look good in the least bit.
