OK, I may get grilled for this but to me...it looks promising. No doubt the feel of the film has Bay written all over it but I like the representation of the Foot Clan, I am digging the Shredder armor, and I am also feeling the personality of The Turtles are that of the cartoon we all know and love.
I also appreciate a different origin of the original story. Because lets face it, if they stuck to the original story and origin of the Turtles they would be ripped apart for not making it close enough.
Very short trailer, I reserve further judgment...but for now, I like what I see.

Aside from the trailer oozing Michael Bay, it actually does look promising. The turtles are a bit too tall for my liking but overall I like the way they look, as well as the Foot and Shredder.
As long as it feels like a TMNT movie and not Transformers that just happens to have ninja turtles in it, it should be good.

Well to me it feels exactly like a Transformers movie.. same visual style, Megan Fox, CGI.. everything. Same puerile dialogue, too.

You know..........I'm letting my guard down and giving this a chance. I will say for a kids film (is this still a kids film? I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a PG-13), the turtles look kind of scary. Will say this though, seeing the actor who'll play Shreddar (a non Japanese but I can live with that), as well s the action, maybe....just maybe.

I think this looks terrible. The constant BWWWOOOMMMMPPPP sounds in a Ninja Turtle movie seemed not right. I am disappointed that it's CGI (but honestly I would be lying to myself if I thought anything different) and it just seems like a movie I'd wait for a download for. Megan Fox annoyed me as soon as she was on screen. She is NOT April O'Neil. But..bring on more trailers.

I actually have more of a problem with Fox being April than the Turtles being CGI to be quite honest.

No interest.
The Turtles look good, but the movie is going to be built around April and the Shredder.
Not what I signed up for.

My son is already all into this. He even got a Turtles shell holder for his Nabi.

This movie looks pretty awesome can't wait! I still like the original first movie because it was pretty close to the original comics and not the cartoon. The daytime animated series is actually a watered down version of the black and white turtles comic which was pretty violent and the turtles would kill people if they needed to. The first turtles movie that came out in 1990 was kinda dark and gritty then the rest of the films became more campy and toned down. I saw it when it first came ou in the theater's all those years ago and loved it more than the animated show
