This film looks awesome can't wait! I saw the first movie back in the theater as a kid I loved it even more than the animated series. It was dark gritty and kinda violent and it is closer to the original black and white comics, hope this is the same way

With this trailer, although short there are key pieces of the Turtles talking to each other that brought me right back to the cartoon. I was never on the side of being on board with this, but I am also not as negative as most here with it either.
There is a chance this could surprise. Perfect example is the Evil Dead remake thread, pages and pages of hate then pages of rave's for it by the very same people.

It seems like Bay probably has their personalities right. To be fair, that's kinda hard to fuck up with all the Turtles stuff out there.
Unfortunately, it's all too familiar in style to Transformers, in terms of look, sound, hell people involved, etc.
I mean I totally expect more of the same. Raph and Leo in their power struggle, while Don and Mike are there to crack jokes, final battle with the Shred and that's your 90 minutes.
