I still like the original the best, then number two. Three and four are pretty cheesy but still amusing. I would like to see a movie to conclude the series as I really think it is an unfinished story. All four movies were leading up to something big and ultimately there is no resolution.

I watched them all again recently and I still stand by 2, 1, 4 and 3 as my order. All four are still great though, wonder where 5 would fit in if it ever got made.

Phantasm 2 then Phantasm 1. I love them both. Haven't watched the other two but want to.

3 and 4 are definitely worth seeing if you liked the first two. They're not as good IMO but well worth the watch if you're a fan

Yes, but 3 was the best It was more campy and badass

I loved all of them including 3, it was fun. Reggie as the lead kicked ass.

Just bought the series on DVD. 1 3 and 4 are in, waiting on part 2, collector's edition.
It's been so long, I'm not sure how I'd rate them. Think I'll have a Phantasm marathon next weekend.

When I was younger I thought 2 was better then 1. Rewatched it being more mature and 1 blows 2 out of the water. The atmosphere alone was amazing. Can't remember 3 and 4, I remember liking the third part though
