"Greetings from myself and producer Stephen Biro! My name is Jim VanBebber and I am the author of a new horror film script entitled "SCALES". Stephen and myself are seeking $7,500.00 through Kickstarter to fund a promotional film and pre-production materials to aid in the investment of the production of the feature film. "SCALES" is a thriller about a Veteran who returns from the war to take over the operation of an alligator farm in Florida. Much madness, mayhem and murder ensues. I am the director of several short films, music videos and two award-winning feature films, "Deadbeat at Dawn" and "The Manson Family". Vic Noto, the actor has begun an Internet slander job on me, after seeing the Kickstarter site for "SCALES". Let me address this...
Vic Noto was my first choice to play Bugs Moran in my feature, "CAPONE: King Of Crime". When that fell apart with the company that I was negotiating with, I told Noto that I would fashion a film for him to star in. As I was writing, Noto would write (the best he could) and send scenes that I did not request or use. As a director, I tried to coddle him, a mistake. His demands and insulting demeanor ultimately proved to me that he would be detrimental to the production and I cut him loose a long time ago. His current campaign of slander, libel and insults are baffling and troubling to me, to say the least. He claims that I am a felon and I am not. He claims that I was evicted from L.A. and I have never been evicted from anywhere, ever. He claims that he wrote "SCALES' and he did not. Vic can hardly write a letter. I think he is a talented actor and I wish him all the best, but rest assured, the screenplay for "SCALES" is my creation and mine alone, registered and copyrighted.

From what I have seen of the donations that seem to be getting sent in, as well as the name change, this project will go ahead. I am very excited about this an no doubt anyone else who digs VanBebber's films is too
