Guns are what would make a female version at all believable. The gun is the great equalizer. A tough girl is not going to be physically imposing to an average guy if he's willing to bypass the societal "throttle plate" that limits his physical response to incoming violence. Forget about the destruction they'd take from a gaggle of properly armed Mathletes if they were a non-gun-violence gang of lady thugs.

Ah yes but you forget about the one across the board rule american men have. You never ever ever hit a girl. Question like Eden Lake and Who Can Kill a Child? did with the notion of breaking the norm about violence against children. Not saying it would work well in ACWO but i am saying the idea is kind of interesting. By the way sorry I didn't clarify the gun comment was more of an overall than a gender thing.

We have girls where I live trying this bullshit with bullying etc. I can picture it to a point. Just make the type of victim more believable. But in saying this I am not saying remake 'A Clockwork Orange' though.

A victim that's essentially accepted the role of victim and given physical dominance over like a gift, if we're talking about females bullying males through physical intimidation. Then you risk having a victim an audience will turn against or potentially perceive as deserving their abuse.

Although I really loved Vincent Price, the Dr. Phibes films would be really cool remade.

Here's one that I got as part of a DVD combo pack with Death Machine...
...it was cheezy entertaining in a lot of ways, but could be done so much better and more believable now.
