    It depends. I tend to favor atmosphere of dread, hehe. Supernatural things probably 'scare' me the most ie. ghosts, demons. Paranormal suspense.
    Or just a lot of gore, violence and zombie terror.

    Back when I was younger I was satisfied with gore. Now as I have gotten older gore means nothing to me if the movie itself is shit. I need atmosphere, creepy atmosphere where after a half hour you realize your'e all tensed up.

    I don't like cheesy one-liners in my horror, unless the movie is going for that feel. The horror I like is summed up nicely with 30 Days Of Night. Violent, tense, lead characters running around scared shitless, no stupid one-liners thrown in for comedy's sake, just full-tilt-boogie horror.
