Caught this flick earlier and thought it was surprisingly very good and is probably one of Mel's better films in years. It starts off with Mel in a car chase with the cops, and crashes his way across the Mexican border. Once the dirty cops on that side catch wind of the stolen money in the car, they decide to keep it and throw Mel's ass in prison. Mel's character is forced to use his skills as a thief and killer to survive and find a way outta the shitty prison.
There's a good mix of comedy and violence, and Mel's character is incredibly interesting, mostly due to the fact that we literally know nothing about him, and we only get bits and pieces of who he is throughout the movie. There's also a good amount of blood in certain scenes (mainly in a badass shootout half way), which is always a plus. If you're lookin' for a fun crime comedy then give this a look 7/10 (but a very high 7)

I'm not sure why, but despite a lot of positive feedback the flick has received, it pretty much just got dumped to video-on-demand and will likely just see DVD shelves later in the year. Too bad since it's a good flick. I'll probably grab it when it's released either way
