Yesterday, on Showtime 2 HD, I watched this movie called WOMB. Not sure you call it a horror movie, but it was a horror to watch it. Story of a boy and a girl as children that live on the shore. They spend like 4 years with each other until she has to leave with her mother to Japan. She comes back as a adult, like 10 or 15 years to meet up with her childhood boyfriend. They spend some time with each other until her gets killed in a car accident.

She decides to have him cloned and raise him. She gives up everything and stays on the shore on a remote island. Anyone else see this weird movie?

It ends, that the son has sex with his mother. Then he leaves her.

German movie. It was ok, very few characters like less then 50. Two cars, one moter bike in the whole movie. More like 5 women for each male character. Very formal English, to a point that it was very dry.

I found it quite acceptable, at least interesting. A controversial premise, treated in an "intimistic" way, I'd say. The film seeks that we can connect with the characters, to understand their feelings and their silences. Ocean, sky, cold, a blue tone covers the whole movie.

One problem could be the slow and extremely calm tone, which to many may seem boring.

That pretty much sums it up. I really enjoyed it quite abit. The rather slow pace will turn off alot of people, just stick with it. It's a quieter film, meant more for contemplation than anything else.
