ah yes the new "James Bond" movie. Why did I use quotations? Because he's no longer James Bond. He's still JB alright...but now he's Jason Bourne. The gadgets still look to be gone. The James Bond attitude we've all come to love over the years seems to still be missing and the Bond sly humor was nowhere to be seen in that trailer. I still stand behind saying Daniel Craig was not a bad choice for Bond. I don't think he's the problem. Its the writing, they've forgotten what James Bond is supposed to be.

Checked this out last night...LATE last night. Not only is Skyfall the best Bond film ever, it is easily my favorite movie of the year. Anyone with doubts about this movie just set them aside and be prepared to be blown away!

Javier Bardem (this bond movie's villian) should at the very least be nominated for an Academy Award for his performance. Mendes beautifully directs this masterpiece from start to finish. The major action set pieces are simply stunning and are easily the best out of any previous Bond film and perhaps any film of this nature in recent memory.

Any fan of Bond absolutely, positively MUST see this. Any fan of action movies or film in general also must catch this. I'll be honest and say this movie took me by surprise but oh what a sweet treat it is. I don't typically do scores for "reviews" but this is easily a 10/10.

Awesome fuckin' movie!

Movie was awesome! Best Bond movie by far, and in the top 3 of 2012. I felt like this movie was more of a true reboot to the franchise than CR, with a few clever references to the past series. Also the villain was brilliant. I've read a lot with people comparing him to the Joker in TDK, but it's bs. The guy has clear intentions and acts they way he does for reason, and his intro scene with Bond is all kinds of creepy.

This is surly the most "classic" Craig Bond film to date. Trust me.

Skyfall was badass just a plain awesome film easily one of the best Bond flick's in a very long time!.

Just like the last few with Craig the whitty banter is all but gone. The gadgets r none existant. And Q's role has been reduced to a computer hacker. The only good thing about this movie is Javier Bardem as the villain. Adeles theme song and the few nods to actual TRUE bond movies like in the ending. To quote Q "what did u expect? An exploding pen? We don't really do that kind of thing anymore." In other words. Bond is dead.

Only watched one Craig film to date.

It had its moments.

Lets be reasonable. Brosnan had one really good Bond film that was also propped up and rediscovered due to the ultra success of the N64 classic. And the other 3 films he did are just kinda there and there were rumblings he really didn't enjoy playing Bond due to the scripts he was given.

Roger Moore is really middle of the pack. I can enjoy some of his movies but can't watch others. Connery is still the king along with his severely dated movies. They still have good qualities and maybe just that grainy 60s era filmmaking help prop the movies at points today.

I dont hate craig. I've always said I didn't hate the fact they chose him but the more I watch the guy the more I realize he plays the same damn person in every movie. Who does he play in Cowboys and Aliens? This character with a cowboy hat on. And I forgot to mention something major that really bugged the shit out of me about this movie. The Beginning! Something MAJOR happens and the outcome isn't even explained. I was like oh come on what the hell!!!??!?! I'm trying to be spoiler free here but anyone who has seen it knows what I'm talking about.

Good flick, definitely one of the better Bond films I've seen, loved the simplicity of the climax 7/10
