Caught this earlier and thought it was aight. Entertaining for the most part, but the whole movie really is nothing but one big party. There's no plot to it other than that; not that I really expected there to be one. The documentary aspect didn't really work for the flick, in my opinion, but a lot of the camera/handheld footage did make it seem more epic and almost puts you right in there. Some funny bits here and there, but I wouldn't consider it a "comedy". The flick isn't something I'd recommend unless you just wanna see a pointless movie about one crazy epic party that eventually gets outta hand. One thing's for sure though is that it makes you wish you were there; party looked awesome

On another note, I read that the flick was partially inspired by a real life house-party of an Aussie teen back in 2008 that consisted of 500+ peeps, which apparently got outta hand and spilled into the streets, and resulted in an estimated $20k in property damages

Basically early in the film the kids steal a garden gnome from a drug dealer as they went to get some weed. They learn later in the party (after some dude hits it with a baseball bat) that it was filled with ecstasy. Towards the end of the film the drug dealer comes back to get his sheet, but he's armed with a blowtorch and torches the house and whole block. Pretty crazy

Was wondering what happened to this movie. I haven't heard anything about it or any one watching it.
