I, III, VI, II, VII, V, IV... I'd rank them in that order, although I do enjoy all of them and not ashamed to admit it.

I enjoy the series too, definitely gets too much hate, IMO.

Er, tb brutally honest they've all kind of morphed into one shitty homogenous globule of skidmark encrusted pants, a bit like never washing and then lumping together eight pairs of worn out gruds.

Er, 1 was alright, I think 5 was okay and the last one (part 7) didn't have that many hairy klingons the last time I looked at it but other than that they're all full of wank stains - just like my underwear.

I liked the first Saw, and the second was a bit of a step down but I don't think it was bad. The third I didn't exactly hate but I have no intention of seeing it again. Everything else might as well be flung into space, along with the people who obsess over them.

1,2,3 & 6 are the best for me. 4 is way too convoluted with jarring editing, 5 just isn't much of anything and 7 just loses the plot completely.

If you dug the original then some of the sequels are worth seeing.

It doesn't help the films were made within a year from each other, so I'm sure a lot was rushed and thrown together.

I still enjoy the series, once in a while I like to set a day aside to watch them all in a row. It's fun to do provided you have the patience for it.

I'm doubting an eighth film will ever be made or at least a direct sequel to the last one, seeing as the main actors are getting older and Tobin Bell is in his early 70s. A reboot was thrown around from what I recall, maybe they'll do that.
