Carrie needs a remake, but only if they're going to keep to the book. I'm gonna be pissed if the town destruction doesn't make it into this film, but I think it will. I've already heard they're going to do the "media cutaways" of townspeople.

I hope this is going to be a more faithful adaption. The original movie was good "not great," just like The Shining was a good flick. But if this sticks to the book than the movie could be great and hopefully we'd be seeing a Shining remake in a couple years.

If they do do this BooBs this would be interesting. Unfortunately I bet there will be a lot of CGI blood and some 'popular' actress who probably won't suit the character will be starring

Eh. The book was great.
The film has already had its Original, Sequel (The Rage or whatever), and a Remake... The Original was ok, the sequel was... ok, and I never saw the remake.

Didn't they already do a TV remake for the Shining?
