I liked the flick. It's long and a little hard to follow (at first), but it doesn't take long to get used to the format and follow the characters and stories. Despite it's lengthy time frame, I wasn't bored once and as an anthology I pretty much like all the stories told (a rarity in an anthologies standpoint). The only real problem I had with the movie was it's reuse of actors playing different characters in each storyline. The makeup job for some of them is just ridiculous looking and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Other than the distracting look of some of the characters, it's a solid effort and a flick worthy of repeated viewings. 7/10 (but a HIGH 7)

Whenever anyone asks me about this film, I always ask them one question, yes or no, did you like Inception ? If yes, then you will definitely enjoy Cloud Atlas.

Finally finished this and my first thought was that, about the make up. Like it was forced or something.. It was worth the bit of time I spent watching it but like Avatar, it's one of those films I'll likely only view once. 6.5/10.
