To those that saw it in 3D--did the 3D seems dark and blurry at times? Felt like I was watching it with tint over my glasses, was so dark

Silent Hill: Revelation - 4/10
The first Silent Hill was cool, but far from being a great movie, and in a lot of ways Silent Hill: Revelation is just as far away from being Silent Hill.
The visuals were creepy, and some nice effects at times, but the atmosphere and general sense of dread never seemed to fully pay off as it did to an extent in Silent Hill. Creepy at times maybe, but there's no way that that can make up for underdeveloped and/or underutilized characters, jump scares, poor forced plot points, et.
Only so much to expect with half the budget as the original, but with a couple of notable actors thrown in the mix like Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell; I thought that that would bring the level up a notch. It never happened, and they were both underutilized and felt out of place for the most part. It was on Netflix so I threw the dice. Worth seeing if you're a fan of the game franchise, but otherwise stream it somewhere.
I think the most shocking thing about this flick for me was Kit Harington (Jon snow - Game of Thrones)
He just seemed widly out of place. I kept expecting to see him pull out a broad sword.
