It was a great concept but i think some of the directors tried too hard. F was the worst one imo. I was excited for it to come out but after i watched it i felt like "meh" as well haha

Well, after just sitting through it I can definitely say it's a mixed bag of mostly forgettable shorts, some good, some meh and some F for Fart.

D for Dogfight was a good laugh with a rollicking Raging Bull esque boxing match and a funny twist in it's tail ZING...er burgers for me.

L for Libido was head and shoulders above the rest and the only one that fully utilised its paltry runtime to great effect. Easily my favourite of them all.

X for XXL was the goriest and was a fun 5 minutes or so.

G for gravity is easily the most intelligent of the bunch, I could explain what it means in a flash but it would give the game away.

The only other one that i can even remember (bear in mind I just watched this about half an hour ago) is the T segment for 'Toilet' which is a bloody hilarious stop motion claymation affair about a kid who's terrified of the bog. I shan't spoil it for you but it was very funny.

Other than that the rest are mere padding. Giving £5,000 to a filmmaker with carte blanche to come up with whatever they want might seem like a good idea on paper but in many of these cases I'd be asking where the other £4,900 went as I could have made better mini films with my iPhone and a case of Stella.

I think...well, you kinda have to remind yourself that these are all different directors with their own vision. None of their works even seem to fit a theme. Not even horror. They are simply short films titled according to the alphabet. And trust me, a LOT of short films have trouble with clear narrative and originality.

I really liked O, T, X, and Y. In contrast, C and G were the worst.

Terrible movie. The only memorable short was D. The only reason is because I loved dogs and I liked the end of it. The rest were just bad. Some were alright, but I just wanted this movie to end. Many of them were childish like F (actually for some reason all of the Asian shorts were really terrible). This would have been good if it wasn't so predictable of what words people were going to choose. Some were just disturbing like L.
All in all I would skip it if you haven't seen it.
