New flick from John Hillcoat (The Proposition, The Road). Don't care much for Shia LaBeouf, but this looks like a good one

Movie did kinda shitty at the box office, bringing in less than $10-mil domestically. Though, I guess it's to be expected since these types of drama/action films don't normally make a lot at the BO anyway.

I caught it yesterday. It was alright none of the three brothers really have much to do and the plotting could have used a jolt. Not nearly as depressing as John Hillcoat's other films, but still has plenty of that beautiful decay imagery.

Caught this earlier--good flick

Hardy and Pearce steal every scene, but like choptop said, none of them were really given a whole lot to do. I just expected a bit more action or more from the gangsters, but as it is, it's not bad. You just gotta go in expecting a period drama about bootlegging and not so much about hicks vs gangsters, like I thought it'd be. Either way, still a good movie. 7/10
