The Burbs (1989)

Decided to revisit this flick recently after False was saying how the new neighbors never come out. I made reference to The Burbs and she didn't know WTF I was talking about. Naturally schooling her on such a classic film was in order. Its been years since I last saw this, but despite it's age it still holds up. Actually, now that I'm an adult I'm catching a lot of jokes and stuff I missed when I last saw it as a kid.

This is definitely a great dark comedy and director Joe Dante really captured a fun and adventurous feel from start to finish. They really don't make movies like this anymore. If I were to review it I'd probably slap it with an 8/10. A great classic flick '



If you've never seen this then WTF is wrong with you I suggest you watch it ASAP!

Always did like this movie... saw it not too long ago, still holds up.

Seen it many time's either when it was on various channel's on TV and what not should have a Blu-ray already!.
