An anthology of five short films are shown at drive in after the apocalypse.
"Pig" - takes place in a frat house after a major party. A man awakes to find he is glued to a bathtub and a woman intends to torturer him.
"The Closet" - a sad boy finds a monster in his closet that promises to make his life better.
"Fall Apart" a doctor contracts a horrible disease
"Meat Man" women start turning up dead with large chunks of flesh missing in a small town by a killer called you guessed it "the meat man"
"The Watcher" - a group of 20-somethings go to camp out in the woods.
This draws unavoidable similarities to tales from the crypt. But what it lacks in originality it makes up for in just being fun. It's really hard to summarize these shorts without giving too much away since they are fairly quick without much plot. Which for the most part works. Practical effects were really well done especially in "Fall Apart".
The host and his exchanges with customers were amusing in a cute punny way. And surprisingly the kids in "Meat Man" and "The Closet" were pretty good considering. Other than that the acting was pretty bad even for this genre. Them advertising having two people that won "survivor" really didn't sell me on their acting skills. In all honesty we did walk out before the end of "the watcher" (the last story) partially because of rude audience members partially because that was the only short we were bored by. Overall it isn't a great or terrible watch but a fun one.
