Just heard of this flick and watched the trailer. Looks good. I'm always down for a new mob movie and this one looks pretty solid

This looks fucking awesome! I loved The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, can't wait to see what this guy can do with a mob film.

I liked the flick, but it's definitely not a movie for everyone, especially since it's a little too dialogue heavy with a bit too much style over substance. Though, some of that style was pretty damn good, like one slow-mo scene and a couple others scenes. The whole film is essentially the director's vision on the current state of the country, disguised as a crime drama. Either way, I dug the film, despite some of its pacing issues, especially since Brad Pitt's character was so interesting and likable. But like I said, it's not a movie for everyone. If you're into a bit of a symbolic artsy crime drama then give this a check 7/10

Just watched this last night and again tonight. Loved it.

Pitt killed it, the rest of the cast was great, the direction was stylish, violence was awesome, the dialogue was well written and I loved the message that Dominik was getting across about this country. And Pitt's last few lines to close the film were perfect.

9/10 for me.

As Fright Master said though, it's not for everyone, because it's dialogue driven and pretty straight forward.

I'd like to see this. My friend said pretty much the same as you guys. Good movie but a lot of dialogue and it takes its time.
