Saw this one today. Decent story, few good scares and some pretty good acting. A little slow moving and some predictability made it just decent. Wait for this one to hit Netflix or cable.

This. Out of pure curiousity I did some research on what this movie is actually about. It's quite chilling. After studying the subject matter a bit I am sure the movie will be a let down.

my boss loved it.....but she doesn't know SHIT about good horror...I did know about the episode for this story...I am just really over possesion stories...very hard to do something original in this genre and everything is starting to feel the same with them.....I will def wait for netflix...

If you look at the subject matter only as it is interpreted by Hollywood yes it is stale. But if you look into the documented cases and research it is far from stale. That episode of Paranormal Witness is pretty good.

I tend to watch documentaries on the subject matter more so than films and I will agree with that...but I guess possesions, demonic take over etc.. really doesn't grab my attention as much as a redneck, clown, hippie etc killing people...I guess I am simple mindned...

Though I did find The Rite to be a good watch...mainly because of the end

I enjoyed The Rite as well. I thought it was going to be garbage based on everything I had heard. Yet another example of not listening to what anyone says and watching movies I want to see anyway.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I guess I'm in the minority of those who liked it but I thought it was pretty good.

The actual case of the Dibbuk Box is creepy as Hell. I saw the Paranormal Witness episode about it and am unashamed to admit at 25 years old that episode gave me trouble sleeping. I wouldn't go near the real box if I was paid.
