The Mangler is the first movie that comes to mind every single time this question pops up for me. There are others of course but this one always comes right to the top of my mind.

Wow man, glad you liked it. I can see a certain crowd of genre specific people enjoying a movie for what it's worth...but to call 100 Tears brilliant...I'm at a loss for words! There aren't many movies I call "brilliant". Goodfellas, Heat, The Usual Suspects, Gladiator...yes those are brilliant.
Now I want a Guinness!

The Mailman, it's a SOV piece of shit from 2004.
I've also watched almost every episode of MST3K so bad movies bounce off of me like bullets off of superman.

I tend to try and avoid films that I pretty much know I'll hate, but these films would certainly be in contention for the worst I've ever seen:
Captivity
Confessions of a Serial Killer
Dark Ride
Episode 50
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Feardotcom
Hanger
Hannibal Rising
The Haunting in Connecticut
Queen of the Damned
Sodoma's Ghost
Untraceable

I'd say Open Water and the Guinea Pig 'films' are up there.
Also, I hate it when people use the "so bad it's good" argument. I always get that when I'm trying to argue with a F13 fan. It defies common logic, and IMO it's a really cheap tactic to defend a film.

What if a person truly enjoys a movie that is so bad it's good. To them it IS good.
Same could be said with someone that backs a film up for being good because it has excessive gore. Doesn't mean the movie is good, but it does mean it's good to a person who likes that. Anyone can use anything they want to argue why a movie is good in their own eyes. Good thing you used "IMO"
All threads such as this are all personal opinion.
