Before I even read the blurb on this site that it was indeed filmed in Canada I watched the trailer and knew they weren't in the Pine Barrens.

Just watched it... Pretty terrible, 4/10. Last 5 minutes are decent, but the rest sucks... Plus every time the mother came on the screen I could only think of her line from Not another teen movie...

I liked this film. I haven't seen many movies about the Jersey Devil legend. Pretty brutal in some parts. 6/10.

Not prejudice against Canada, it is just that I know the Pine Barrens very well and they have a uniqueness to them. Not sure how they thought they could get away with some location in Canada for the film. Just seeing the backdrop in the trailer ruined any interest I had in the movie whatsoever.

Agreed. Was such a bad movie...4/10 from myself as well. Nothing redeeming in this movie...what a waste.
