Hey guys!
I'm pretty new to this site, but I thought it would be a good place to share what I'm trying to do. It pretty much explains it in the title. I'm a student, in the process of making (what I think is) a really brutal, really funny horror/comedy. It's not a comedy in the classic sense; most of the humor is inherent in the script, and simply comes from the over-the-top nature of the violence.
Hopefully when I say "vampire movie" that doesn't turn people. But if it does, have no fear! This is by no means a vampire movie in the traditional sense. It's a story about a girl who thinks that she's vampire, but actually just isn't. However, she is a such a miserable, bossy wretch of a girl that she convinces her mom to start giving her own blood so that she can feed.
That's the basic overview of the story, but there's also plenty of fantasy sequences thrown in there where our heroine (if you can call her that) imagines herself as a vampire, doing whatever the fuck she wants. There's plenty of blood, trust me. Check out the poster for the movie and it'll give you a pretty good idea of some of the stuff that might happen in these fantasy sequences (two of them are animated).
But of course, making a quality movie isn't cheap. I'm in the process of raising funds for my movie. It isn't much! This is by no means a feature length- it's going to be a roughly 10 minute short film. I only really need about $1000 more than I actually have. So, I'm asking anyone and everyone to contribute, if they're interested. I know you guys don't know me, but I thought I'd come here to see if anyone is genuinely interested in the movie, and (perhaps) wants to see it succeed! If you have any more questions about the movie, just message me and I'd be happy to answer them.

That's the link for the fundraising site (obviously). Check it out, and read up more about where I'm coming from and what I want to achieve with this movie! I just hope that some of you might be into the idea- trust me, it's going to be really bloody, weird, and funny.
Cheers!
