I haven't watched the trailer due to me not being able to watch videos, but from what I've seen in pictures it looks like the Iron Patriot armour is getting some screen time. I also read something about Mandarin being in this? I fucking hope so, only left him 3 movies too late!!!!!

I think it looks great, love the dark tone to it. Kingsley looked badass as The Mandarin but he didn't have the accent I expected him to have. I like the symbolism in the end with the 3 turning off like he's defeated but then the chest piece coming back on symbolizing his return.

It looks like it will be a good watch, and I was expecting the Mandarin to finally make an appearance... but honestly, I can't say I'm all that pleased with someone who isn't Chinese playing the fuckin' Mandarin... It's like.. I don't know... Captain America being played by Jackie Chan or something like that...

I like that they're actually using one of Iron Man's main enemies finally. I never saw 2 but liked 1. This trailer looks pretty good.

Same here. I watched the trailer again and it does look like it might be good. I guess I'm not as excited because I have no idea who the Mandarin is because I'm a comic noob

I know there will be some kind of techy bad guy in this as well but it'll be nice to see Ironman going up against a magic based character. It was all technology stuff there in the first 2.

This could shape up to be the best Iron Man movie, yet. It looks way different than the two Favreaus. Let's see here, acknowledging the events of The Avengers, Iron Patriot (identity as of yet unknown), Extremis armor, Guy Ritche, and Kingsly as the Mandarin. I only hope that this one doesn't fall prey to the flaws of the first two, weak characterization of Rhodes (and even weaker performance by Cheadle) and a lackluster climax. All that technological intelligence and strategic cunning and Whiplash lets two other men in metal suits aim repulsors at his head.

Unless the Mandarin tries to go "PEW PEW" with his rings and they just don't work. "Uh oh. Better stand still and look directly at Iron Man's hand." Speaking of which, the rings better be magic. I don't fucking care where they came from, just magic. It's essential to the Iron Man vs. Mandarin conflict (technology vs. magic, new vs. old) and with Tony Stark chumming it up with Thor of Asgard, God of Thunder, there's no excuse to try to make it "practical" or "grounded."

I loved The Avengers but I think thats one area where they missed some good back n forth character development. Tony is grounded in a technology based world. He's not gonna buy some guy is a God from a mythical world. I kept waiting on him to question it and its been awhile since I've seen it but I dont think he did.

The build to another Avengers movie is a certain, just where and when is the problem. Phase I of the MCU had Avengers stuff anally-fisted into its movies and it took away from them.

I loved The Avengers but I think thats one area where they missed some good back n forth character development. Tony is grounded in a technology based world. He's not gonna buy some guy is a God from a mythical world. I kept waiting on him to question it and its been awhile since I've seen it but I dont think he did.

He mocked Loki and Thor, but I think Tony was smart enough not to really fuck with them without the suit on, haha. We'll see what going into space did for Tony here.

I have no idea who the Mandarin is, probably because the only comics I grew up on were Brian Pulido's Evil Ernie comics, but he looks like a threatening new and cool villain and from what I read here it'll be interesting as to how they bring about that "new vs. old" battle.

Loved the first movie, second movie kind of lost me, this one might bring the franchise's spark back on their own especially with the boost of the Avengers.

The Mandarin is my favourite Iron Man badass. And he was great in the older comics.

I also read something about Norman Osborn? Apart from the Patriot armour. I wonder if it's an insight of Dark Avengers...?
