I liked it for the most part. Good action and comedy. I will say though, this movie deviates farther from the comics than any other comic movie i've seen. And I thought Nolan was bad.

So, I just got back from seeing Iron Man 3. Holy shit, I don't even remember Pain and Gain anymore...THANK YOU, SHANE BLACK!!! THANK YOU!!!! Iron Man 3 is by far one of THE greatest superhero movies, soaring to the stars of awesomeness, great character depth, every character is used in the best way possible and has a great villain, it has a fantastic plot, it makes fun of certain cliches you'd expect from things like this...except they never use those stupid cliches! It's just a great flawless superhero film.

What with all the controversy surrounding the film about the villain or how a certain twist in the movie pissed a lot of people off to no end, i was just about to sink to their level until the movie continued and I went right with it and loved the fuck out of this movie! I love everything about this movie!

Iron Man 3, "my hand to god", is a great superhero film, everyone should see this movie, take your friends, take your parents, take whoever you can with you and stay after the credits!

Want to know how much more epic I can talk about this movie? Wait until me and Seb talk about it tomorrow!

I'm sure you're saying to yourself "Impossible! This can't be that good!" you can miss out on all the fun if you want, but those who are getting uber negative on this movie, forget about them. Fandom rage against certain things in this movie (while I sympathize with them about staying true to the source material) I'm sorry, but nothing you say or kick or scream about will change the fact that this is one of the best comic book movies to date, quite honestly I'd say it surpasses Dark Knight Rises.

Yeah, you heard me. See this movie!

I loved it, great action, and comedy. A lot of fans are complaining about certain changes to a character. But really the same basic qualities of that character are represented better than most other comic book movie villains. I actually really dig the changes, and the fact that the character is no longer a racist stereotype. Best Iron Man, 2nd best Marvel flick.

The 2nd one sucked so bad that I'm finding it hard to risk paying to see this.

Also, stay for a post credits scene

    Spoiler...
I thought it would be a little more "Avengers 2" related, but this was funny too.

Yeah, Nolan deviated so far from the essence of Batman it wasn't funny. Making Batman a whiny bitch who retires because his girlfriend dies? :shakes head:

I caught it last night and it turned out to be the best out of them all for those who didn't like the 2nd one Iron Man 3 makes up for Iron Man 2 let's just put it that way.

Maybe I have an internal vendetta against these films. I thought Avengers was fantastic at first, but the more times I watched it the less I liked it. Now, I think it's meh. I thought Iron Man 3 was meh, and the best superhero film out of all of them was Hulk. Maybe I just don't enjoy these films. I don't know why

There are a few flaws in the movie that made me just shake my head but the only thing that kills it as a comic movie for me is how badly they deviated from the comics. I'd love to say more but it's too early for spoilers and what not.

Thought the movie sucked. I preferred the first two. Dumb story choices that confuse you and the character change everyone is talking about. And the post credits scene was nothing worth waiting for. Meh.

Saw it yesterday. I have to say, it was a damn good film. Setting aside the deviations from the comics, it really covers all the bases. And Robert Downey Jr. is as fantastic as always. Even though I continually thought "She is not the most beautiful woman alive!", every time Pepper Pots came on screen, I thought Gwyneth Paltrow did a solid job as well.

    • Script was solid (for the most part)
    • Directing was good
    • Effects were good
    • Music was solid

My only complaint was that we had to see the 3D version because the standard showing was sold out. The 3D really did nothing for the movie -- in fact, it was hardly noticable (other than I was wearing those silly glasses).

I think The Dark Knight is the most overrated film of all time. It's boring, overloaded with exposition and plotholes.. and yet it has such a rabid fanbase that you don't dare criticise it.

Yeah, Batman wouldn't retire for 8 years because Maggie Gylanhaal died, lol, what the hell where they thinking?

If it's worse than the first two, it must be pretty bad, because the first two are just average IMO.. I liked the first but the villain was pretty lame and yet another annoying love interest.

Wow 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, everyone I know that saw said it was "Meh" or "It sucked." and Metacritic looks to be accurate once again with a 6.5 for user reviews. Yet this made $175 mil, second only to The Avengers. I'm sure any would-be or up and coming film maker would take the shitty user reviews for that take any day!

$174 mil is $174 mil. I wouldn't care if it came from the asshole of rabid honeybadgers. Incredible haul for 3 days. Count in what it made overseas as well and it's over a quarter billion in one weekend.
