I still haven't seen this remake. One day...one day.

The Thing remake was aight. Should've stuck with all practical effects though. My biggest complaint.

Do you think they over-did it with CGI?

The Exorcist - already 2 sequels and one prequel, and lots of rip-offs already
Jaws - 3 sequels and dozens of rip-offs already
Lady in White - too obscure to be remade. Remakes profit mainly from the inbuilt marketing value.
Silver Bullet - one of the lesser known Stephen King adaptations.. doubt it. Stephen King's name alone won't sell a movie anymore, given how much it has been overused.
    Christine - same as above
The Blob - highly likely.. given Rob Zombie had at one stage been attached to it
Attack of the 50 Foot Woman - already remade, but they might make another version with cgi
Phantasm - probably already in the planning stages
    Rosemary's Baby - highly likely
    Cujo -
    Swamp Thing -
Dracula - probably the most remade movie of all time, so highly likely we'll see another version soon
Bride's of Dracula - you mean the Hammer film? Doubt it. They might make a movie about the brides, though.
Little Shop of Horrors - already remade, so..
Pet Sematary - I heard they were going to remake this
    Motel Hell - too obscure
    Hell Night - as above
People Under The Stair's - Wes Craven might remake it
They Live - already a remake in the works, I think
    IT - as above

I'd love to see remakes of Pet Semetary, IT and The People Under The Stairs. The TV version of it is passable thanks to Tim Curry but there is so much more that can be done with the story.

Think they were talking about a more recent remake. Also Motel Hell was slated for one but it looks like it died. Carrie has one coming out in 2013.

I'd almost like to see a remake of IT, but they'll probably screw it up.

Sadly, all of these will probably be remade one day.
