So... .quick observation/question....
Spoiler...Why not just hop back in the Jeep and stay the course?
It was not broke down.... it was not stuck.... we didnt even attempt to hop back in.
Oh i get it.
The writers needed to create the plot.

Well he did say people do stupid shit when they're afraid Plus, for the plot!!
I enjoyed the movie though, it's not without it's flaws for sure like how a certain pistol kept firing off rounds even though ammunition seemed to be imminently low, but once again this movie benefits from beautiful and exotic settings like in the first.
It felt like there was more consistent pacing and action in this one though making it a bit more entertaining overall. With the slew of garbage low budget zombie movies being pumped out at a dizzying pace, this movie like the first was once again a pleasant surprise and addition to the genre.
For those that didn't like the first, I don't know if you'll like this installment any better but if you dug the first then this is definitely worth your 1hr30mins.

Yeah the first was a turd, so I'm gonna pass on this.

Unfortunately the movie is pretty much more of the same--the guy has to get from point A to point B. A lot of scenes reminded me of scenes from the first, especially the night time sequence on the road. Found all the parts involving the GF in the city to be a bit boring. If you didn't like the first movie then you'll definitely not like this one, because I found it to be slightly worse. Regardless, it's still far from being a bad movie, especially with most of the zombie POS we get lately.

I definitely agree it's more of the same, point A to point B kind of deal but it felt like it had more action to hold your attention than the first. However, what it gained in action it did lose in tension.
The city parts were a bit boring but given the setting, the acting could have been so much more bollywood and cringeworthy so I gave them a pass for that. This definitely won't be for everyone but I liked it.
I did like the resolution of this one better than the first and thought everything tied up nicely.

They could've done a lot more with the city scenes, but instead we were left just focusing on the GF and her father
