For me the movie just isn't good or entertaining. I think if there have been more quality zombie movies released this would be lost in the mix completely. Instead we get more Resident Evil's and direct to On Demand / DVD / Blu-Ray crap where a movie that comes off as a throwback and boring as hell is determined a good film.

Again to each their own as I have ALWAYS said but for me I just don't see how this is enjoyable. Kudos for the film makers to go the "old school" route with it and not having it look like some just out of high school kid filmed it...but damn...give out cattle prods to keep us awake during it.

I know what you mean. This isn't a film I'd revisit much. And I don't think it compares to the best zombie films, but I wouldn't say it was awful or anything.

And I bet the sequel will be better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
