First film was great fun and enjoyable. The second film is one of the shittest things I have ever seen, manly due to that Harris whore. Her portrayal was horrendous. And apparently she is going to be returning in this one. Well, I for one am not subjecting myself to that puss filled bitch's horrid acting again, I'm fairly sure I'll pass on it altogether.

I have to agree with Oxley. It's a shame they replaced the original girl. I thought she did a good job. Not really the biggest fan of Danielle Harris. Think she's overrated.

Harris wasn't the problem, it was the director. Her scenes where she has to go extremely emotional were so poorly staged, shot and edited. It was like you were watching someone's Youtube movie. That was the director, not Harris. On top of that, you want to talk overrated? Tony Todd. He stinks on ice as an actor. You people are smoking crack if you think Harris was what brought down this turd.

The same reason why Tony Todd still gets work. He sucks and he's always sucked. But enough fans like him and excuse the fact that he's a shitty actor that he still gets work and still keeps showing up wrecking any scene he's in in movies and TV. He should just be a voice actor for cartoons or something. He and Harris are horror "royalty" (though lower tier than Jaimie Lee Curtis or Robert Englund).

I don't mind horror/cult actors so long as they give back to their fans. At least they are not like mega stars who live in ivory towers surrounded by bodyguards and aren't accessible at all.

Whilst any one who can create an account on youtube can get millions of fans. The age of the celebrity is over.

I'll take Danielle Harris over any of those overrated 'movie stars' any day of the week.

I just can't understand why she's so popular.

Honestly I think she is popular, for me at least, because she was a part of the Halloween flicks that I grew up wathcing. I've watched them a bunch of times and she was relavent. Then she started popping up in other things and I always revert back to her in Halloween. She is hot as shit and she is a die hard horror fan. That is why she gets my love!

As for Tony Todd...he is not a solid actor but again I grew up with him as Candyman... which I know a lot of people for some reason do not like but I did! That fucker could read my ass to sleep with that trippy deep ass voice of his and that is what I look for in a horror icon..don't you!?

I like her except when she's trying to be tough. It's really easy for her to come across as a "try hard" when she tries to front certain kinds of attitude. She was actually better at it when she was much younger, like in The Last Boyscout. I thought she did a really good job in Stakeland and was able to pull off vulnerable, without being your typical female victim. Her attempts to be perceived more "adult" often seem forced or make her come across as the kind of girl I really wouldn't want to be around. There are certain kinds of bitchy women that I still find attractive but her stock goes way, way down when she plays something bitch.

I've had a crush on her since I was a kid though. She comes off as really sweet and personable in the bits I've seen of her at cons and whatnot, though I've never been to one. If I were to go to one she'd be one of the folks I would want to see and talk to and I'd likely try to get Debbie Rochon to hook something like that up, while reminding myself that she's married now, lol.

I, like B.Rhoades and Irish grew up with her, hell shes my age so post Halloween when she was on Roseanne! I was 14 or 15. Her and Alyssa Milano filled the spank bank numerous times. She truly is my generation's Sexy Ass Scream Queen Loved her hot lil goth ass in Urban Legends. She was smart enuff to know that horror was her best bet at a paycheck. She disappeared for a few years but came back with a vengeance,over the last decade. This woman has played every angle of the victim/final girl,with varying outcomes.I gotta admit i hated her overacting in Hatchet 2, but she didnt create Marybeth either. Adam Green was smart not to put the focus of H3 on her character.that being said, I Still have her portrait tattedon my arm. Its her reflection screaming in a blood covered knife.like her or not she is synonymous with horror. Plus how many 30yr olds can pass for a smoking hot high schooler?
As she ages i might not like sum of the typical roles she takes for a check, but she has evolved into not your typical final/victim girl. Shes been taking more roles as the antagonist. Like in Laid 2 Rest 2,and Blood Night. And she also has been directing films like Among Friends. Which I really Dig So i hope that helps you understand her popularity a lil Better.
