    V/H/S 2 (2013)

Though the first film received a lot of mixed reviews (I thought it was alright) they're moving forward with a sequel anyway. Adam Wingard is the only director returning. Here's the premise and lineup:

When a sleazy P.I. and his assistant are hired to find a missing student, they break into his house to find evidence of his whereabouts. Inside they find a hub of recording equipment and monitors surrounded by stacks of VHS tapes. They check the footage for clues to the boy's disappearance, opening up an endless stream of horrifying videos. But the changes that the videos cause may be even more horrific...5 more tapes. 5 more stories. More will be revealed.
Simon Barrett will make his directorial debut, after serving as writer for several of Adam Wingard's films, including his segment for the first V/H/S.
Adam Wingard (A Horrible Way to Die, You're Next!) returns to direct a segment.
Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre) will write and direct a segment.
Jason Eisener (Hobo With a Shotgun) will write and direct a segment.
Eduardo Sanchez (Blair Witch Project, Altered, Lovely Molly) will co-write and co-direct a segment with Gregg Hale.
Gareth Evans (The Raid) will write and direct a segment.

Although the first wasn't all that good, it had its moments and I liked what the filmmakers were trying to accomplish with it. Hopefully the sequel will improve on their mistakes and be a better flick. Plus, I'm always down for a horror anthology

Interested to see what the new directors turn out for their segments, particularly Eduardo Sanchez and Gareth Evans.

Really interested to see what Gareth does for the genre since he's made huge waves within the Action/Martial Arts genre with The Raid

I'm for it. I was really surprised by the first one, though didn't much care for the "wrapper". Some good directors in the lin-up.

Still haven't gotten around to seeing the first one since the reviews are so mixed.

See it! The wrap around story is so-so, but the individual films are fantastic

First one was awful. None of the stories went anywhere, had more unintentional laughs than shocks, or just ended with a wimper. Anthologies can always go either way, and with new directors it could be an improvement.

I'd say it's worth a look, especially if you're into horror anthologies, but don't expect much.

I liked the first one. Didn't love it and I really wanted to but it had some solid moments. I love they are (mostly) going with new directors this time.

I agree with this. For me this is the most overhyped little-known film I have ever seen. Billed as "The scariest movie of 2012"...I don't think so...not even close. It is worth watching because everyone has their own opinions but I thought it was slightly below average.

This doesn't interest me at all.

I thought the first one was one of the worst movies of 2012.
