This movie would have been SO much better if they incorporated more practical fx instead of the choppy cg. I did jump a few times. Not good/not bad. 5/10.

MEH movie. Decent acting and characters, but dreadful dialogue and a cheesy looking creature. Should've dropped all the CG and just stuck with practical effects. 5/10

I enjoyed it to an extent. I predicted the ending about half way through.

Also, is it only me or did anyone else think the two guys were actually gay and in a affair together before finding out about the girl?

My buddy and I were excited when we first watched the trailer. It made it look like they used practical effects and people were going to be dying left and right. When I watched was the complete opposite. If they didn't spend the first, almost, hour talking and replaced the horrible looking CGI with practical effects, this could have been a very cool little film.

Everyone thought it was just the one alien, then it turns out Earth is getting invaded, so all their fighting was pretty much useless
